Terms and Conditions

We value you and your business very highly.  To avoid any misunderstandings, please read carefully the terms and conditions below prior to making your reservation and payment.  If you have any questions, please contact us at any time. BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS


PAYMENTS - A £100 deposit per person is required to confirm your reservation. Some customized programs require a higher deposit amount. Full payment is required no later than 8 weeks prior to departure. If full payment is not received 8 weeks before travel, your reservations may be canceled without notice and cancellation penalties applied per the Cancellation Policy below.
 

PRICING – All prices are valid at time of printing and based on exchange rates in effect at that time. All prices on our website are subject to change without notice.  Prices are guaranteed at time of final payment. Our prices all include a 4% cash discount based on payment by cheque or bank transfer.   Credit card payments are also accepted.

PEACE OF MIND - For UK clients, all monies received by us are held in a separate trust account in accordance with the UK Package Travel Regulations 1992. No moneys are released from this account until you have returned from your holiday.
We are also fully insured via Royal & Sun Alliance Tour Operator’s public liability insurance, policy number AF670407.

 

GIFT CERTIFICATES - A luxurious spa holiday makes a great gift.  Gift certificates are available for all of our holidays.

AIR TRAVEL/FLIGHTS - Our prices do not include flights. On request we will refer you directly to airline companies or travel agents who specialize in flights from your preferred airport to Tunisia.   We are not responsible for canceled or delayed flights.   UK clients are encouraged to purchase their airline tickets only from licensed travel agents or ATOL license holders.  Flight bookings are subject to their conditions.


CANCELLATION POLICY - Written notice of your cancellation should be mailed or faxed to us as soon as possible. The following cancellation fees will apply:

The deposit amount is non refundable once the booking has been confirmed
50% of tour cost will be charged between 56 and 30 days prior to departure
75% of tour cost will be charged between 29 and 15 days prior to departure
No refund will be given for cancellations made within 14 days of departure.

No refunds will be made for unused portions of the itinerary. We reserve the right to cancel, change or substitute any service and to decline to accept or retain any tour member at any time for any reason.

LAST-MINUTE RESERVATIONS: Bookings received less than 8 weeks prior to departure will be accepted only on full payment basis plus £30 per person last-minute booking fee. If requested services cannot be confirmed, all money will be refunded. If services are confirmed, all applicable cancellation penalties will apply.

CHANGES – Any changes made by the customer after a tour has been booked and confirmed will be subject to a £20 per revision, plus any expenses imposed by suppliers as a result of these changes.

INSURANCE – Trip cancellation and travel insurance is highly recommended. Information regarding travel insurance companies is provided to all clients with confirmed reservations or upon request. UK and EU residents are required to show proof of travel insurance before departure.  Clients of other nationalities who choose not to purchase travel insurance are required to sign an Insurance Waiver Agreement.

CAR RENTAL - Drivers must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license. Unlimited mileage, local value added taxes (VAT), and collision damage waiver insurance (CDW) are included. Rates do not include gasoline and personal accident insurance. Prices are based on 24 hour clock period.  Additional payment may be required based on pick up and drop off times. Major credit card or cash security deposit may be required at time of rental.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar.  We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of similar or higher standard when necessary for reasons beyond our control. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin or double bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for an upgraded room category. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. All hotel rates are based on our contractual agreements with our suppliers and are not negotiable. Hotel check-in time is generally not before 2:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon.  Please be sure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been taken into consideration when a late night flight is being used. 

REFUNDS - There will be no refunds for unused package tour services or features, including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or missed flights, unused meals, missed sightseeing tours, missed tee-times, unused entrance fees, and accommodations. No terms set forth in this brochure may be changed by anyone other than an authorized representative of Spa Tunisia, and in order for those changes to be deemed acceptable, they must be documented in writing. Spa Tunisia is not obliged to guarantee promises (written or verbal) made by local hotel staff, tour guides, local agents, or any other persons not under direct employ of Spa Tunisia.

RESPONSIBILITIES – Spa Tunisia has contracted with independent contractors in securing the services provided in their tours and is not responsible or liable for any negligent act and/or omissions of these independent contractors, their employees, agents, or representatives. Spa Tunisia gives notice that in issuing coupons, vouchers or tickets for travel or transport by any means, for golf, hotels or other accommodations, they are acting not as principals but as agents only for the companies, corporations or persons providing or offering their service. Spa Tunisia is not responsible or liable, with respect to person or property, for any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or irregularity however sustained or suffered during any trip or tour arranged by them.  Furthermore, customer waives any claim against Spa Tunisia, its employees, agents and principals for (a) any loss of or damage to property or injury to any person caused by reason of any defect, negligence, or other wrongful act or omission of, or any failure of performance of any kind; (b) any inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, mental distress or other similar matter; (c) any delayed departure, missed connections, substitutions of accommodations or other services, terminations of service, or change in fares or rates; and (d) any cancellation or double booking of reservations beyond the direct control of Spa Tunisia. Spa Tunisia does not accept any responsibility for losses or other additional expenses due to delays or changes, quarantine, sickness, strikes, war, weather, acts of God or other causes.  Any such losses or expenses are to be born by the customer.

TRAVEL AGENTS AND RESELLERS – Warrant that each customer has been advised to carefully review the preceding Terms and Conditions and that furthermore each customer fully understands that they are subject to the said Terms and Conditions.
